I recognise and thank Catherine Cox for her extraordinary 28 years of dedicated service to the students, families and staff of Cartwright Public School. Over nearly three decades, Cathy has been a constant source of care, encouragement and support for generations of students. Her warmth, kindness, humour and unwavering commitment to education have left a lasting mark on the school community and helped shape countless young lives. The affection and respect held for Mrs Cox was on full display as the school community came together to celebrate her remarkable contribution. In a fitting tribute to her fun-loving spirit, students and staff marked the occasion with a Dinosaur Mufti Day, filling the school with laughter, creativity and plenty of dinosaur-themed fun. As Cathy prepares to begin an exciting new chapter in her working life by the water and in the sunshine, we wish her every happiness for the future.
