I would like to acknowledge the outstanding work of the Cumberland Chamber of Commerce in championing diversity and strengthening representation across the business community in Western Sydney. Cumberland is one of the most culturally diverse regions in our state, and the Chamber has played a vital role in ensuring that this diversity is not only recognised, but actively supported and celebrated. Indeed, 'representation' is one of their core tenets. Through targeted networking events, mentoring opportunities and inclusive business programs, the Chamber has created pathways for entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds to grow and succeed. Their efforts have helped break down barriers to participation, ensuring that more voices are heard and more stories are represented in our local economy. Indeed, their upcoming Women in Politics and Business event is an example of this. Importantly, the Chamber has collaboration, innovation and shared success. By creating spaces where diversity is seen as a strength, they are helping to build a more resilient and dynamic business community. I commend the Cumberland Chamber of Commerce for its leadership and commitment to inclusion, and I look forward to seeing their continued impact on the people it serves.
