I am delighted to congratulate the Hinchinbrook Hornets Junior Rugby League Club on securing an $18, 865 grant for the installation of a new electronic scoreboard at Winnall Reserve, Green Valley. Community sporting clubs like the Hornets play an essential role in bringing local families together, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and creating opportunities for young people to develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. This funding, through the Local Sporting Grants program, will improve facilities at Winnall Reserve and enhance the experience for players, volunteers, officials, and supporters who contribute so much to our local sporting community. The new scoreboard is a valuable investment in grassroots sport and will ensure the club can continue to grow and provide a welcoming environment for current and future generations.
