I recognise the Liverpool Artist in the Spotlight for October and November, Jennifer Phillips. Jennifer's work celebrates her love of painting, animals and the natural world. Her art captures the spirit and movement of wildlife in a way that is both vivid and deeply personal. She reminds us that creativity is not about perfection or fame, but about self-expression and growth. Jennifer describes painting as something she can lose herself in for hours — a process of patience, reflection and self-discovery. Though she humbly calls herself a newcomer to the arts, her commitment to improving with every brushstroke is clear to all who see her work. It was inspiring to see her art in my office over the last couple of months. I thank Jennifer for sharing her gift with our community.
