I rise to recognise the wonderful work being done by Busby Public School through its Kindness Koha Market initiative. Recently, I had the pleasure of dropping by the school to donate items to support this thoughtful community program. The Kindness Koha Market helps provide free essentials, clothing, toys, games and household items to local school families who may be doing it tough. It is a practical and compassionate initiative that reflects the caring spirit of the Busby Public School community. Programs like this make a real difference for families across our area. They remind us of the importance of looking out for one another and ensuring that every family feels supported during difficult times. I commend the staff, volunteers and school community behind this initiative for their generosity and commitment to helping others. I particularly want to acknowledge principal Ena Lakisoe and Community Liaison Officer Max Kami for their great work in the 2168. Busby Public School continues to set a wonderful example of community spirit in action.
