Minarah College

13 May 2026

I rise to acknowledge the recent visit of students from Minarah College, Green Valley, to the New South Wales Parliament. It was a pleasure to welcome the students and staff to Parliament and provide them with the opportunity to learn more about our democratic institutions, the legislative process, and the important role Parliament plays in representing communities across New South Wales. Visits such as these are invaluable in encouraging young people to engage with civics and public life, while fostering a deeper understanding of leadership, responsibility, and community participation. The students from Minarah College represented their school with great enthusiasm, curiosity, and respect throughout their visit, and they should be commended for the positive manner in which they conducted themselves. I would also like to acknowledge the teachers and staff whose dedication and support help create meaningful educational experiences for their students both inside and outside the classroom. Minarah College continues to make a valuable contribution to our local community through its commitment to educational excellence and student development. I thank the school for visiting Parliament and look forward to welcoming many more local students in the future.
