Sadleir Public School has been providing quality public education to the local community and positively shaping young minds for over 60 years. I recently visited the school, where I had the pleasure of sitting in on a phonics class, hear all about the narratives that Support Unit students were creating and saw the pre-school students learning through play. I was energised by the students' clear enthusiasm for learning as well as the dedication of the teachers, staff and leadership team in every classroom. Their commitment to providing a supportive, inclusive and engaging learning environment is something that deserves recognition and continued support. I acknowledge the work of Relieving Principal Dannielle Chew and her whole team. Moments like this highlight just how important public education is in not only shaping young minds, but in strengthening the fabric of our community. I look forward to working closely with Sadleir Public School and supporting the broader local community in the months and years ahead.
